Emily Barraza, Law Clerk

Emily Barraza is a Law Clerk at Asonye & Associates. She is currently enrolled at Chicago-Kent College of Law and will graduate in May 2023. Emily is currently enrolled in the Labor and Employment Law certificate program. She is the secretary of the Labor & Employment Law Society and Vice President of the Student Humanitarian Network. Emily also participates in other student organizations such as Hispanic Latinx Law Student Association and Chicago-Kent First-Generation Law Student Association.

In 2019, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Summa Cum Laude. Emily received her bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Business. She worked with Illinois Connection and lobbied for higher education for the University of Illinois System.
